The best espresso coffee, the closest to Atlantic Terminal (actually right by the Fulton G)!
For non dairy milk options, they have oat and almond but not soy. Choice of cinnamon or cardamom to sprinkle on top!
Drink prices are reasonable, though the food tends to be fancy and a bit more pricey. There are plenty of vegan snacks here and some more solid meal options. Stay here and enjoy the airy sunlit space or take your purchase to the square outside (bring something to share with the homeless people there).
There's a gender neutral restroom behind the counter. It's a bit awkward to step through there, maybe someday they'll at least put a restroom sign on the door?
The people who work here are really sweet and friendly, which is amazing given the attitudes of some of the customers.
No laptops on weekends. -

Where to begin!! Chill and beautiful sunlit space with healthy and delicious dishes for any time of the day. My personal favorites are the baba asada bowl (the brisket is so tender), the plantains, roasted turmeric cauliflower, fish of the day (typically salmon!), and squash cacio e pepe. But really you can't go wrong, a lot of plant-based/vegetarian options too. The staff are friendly and service is quick and I've never felt rushed. I also love that it's women-owned.
This is my go-to for good conversations with friends in a relaxed setting. Highly recommend for brunch or happy hour + dinner! -

As much as I want to say I found baba cool, they found me on Instagram. I saw it was down the block and had to try it out. I wasn't sold on their acai bowl but their coffee was amazing and it was very chill in there. After, I came back and tried food.
Their baba asada bowl is delicious and super filling. Their sandwiches are very tasty and the butternut squash toast is something that everyone needs to try! The employees there are very friendly and super hard working. I come to baba cool atleast 4x a week! There's so many different things to try on the menu and they never disappoint. -

Super cute place! It's a very small cafe style place. You order at the counter and wait for your food to come. Everything was delicious! My bowl came with delicious cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, slaw, lentils and quinoa. I added jerk chicken and the curry dressing brought it all together! It had some kick, but not crazy spicy. It kept me full for a long time!
The chai was good, I got it iced. It needed a little more seasoning.
The avocado toast also got great reviews as well as the side of cauliflower.
A little pricey, and any changes or additions usually cost extra, but overall great place to check out! -

"Cool" little (and I emphasize little) spot! Full of very happy, enthusiastic staff. Nice music and very light filled and cheery. I've only been once ( I just left actually) and I got the Carny Sandwich and an ice coffee.
Coffee was good and sandwich was very good. Great spot to pick up to go food or to sit for a drink. Kind of tight if planning for a full brunch or dinner. Two complaints: 1) my wait on Saturday AM was exceedingly long for my sandwich and 2) I'm really over places offering only Almond (many people are nut allergic-me!),oat (oh so trendy) and Coconut milk as milk alternatives. I know it's passe, but many people still love soy milk! That said, I'd definitely return if in the area for a quick bite or coffee.
